Atlas-optical Company, Ltd was founded in 1993 in Nankang, Taiwan under the name Micro Technology Company, Ltd and changed to its current name in 1996. The only product then was the front surface mirror for scanners.
The company expanded over the years. It set up branches

 and factories in Suzhou and Dongguan China in 1998 and 1999.The Dongguan branch is currently located at No 2 Xianglong Road, Xincheng Zone, Shilong Town, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, 52336; and in August 2005, the Suzhou branch moved to its current location, No 399 Suhong East Road, Suzhou Industrial Park, Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, 215021. The current headquarter of the company is located on No.51,Sinmin Road., Beitou Distric, Taipei County 11243, Taiwan.

Currently Atlas Optical Co. Ltd. has two factories in Suzhou and Dongguan, China with products listed above. The average annual revenue is roughly 114 million RMB or equivalently 15 million US dollars. After streamlining the production line, we currently employ roughly 200 employees.
